My greatest motivation is serving others, especially the next generation of students who come to Rice University each year. What I enjoy most about my current position is knowing that my work contributes to something much larger than myself. Although much of what I do happens behind the scenes, each day I have the opportunity to support the university’s academic mission and help create an environment where students, faculty, and staff can thrive. It is rewarding to know that even in a small way, my work helps advance the broader mission of Rice and the success of its community.

My biggest piece of advice is to get to know the people around you. What makes Rice truly unique is its people. Every day, I have the privilege of working alongside colleagues who are deeply committed to advancing the university’s mission. Building relationships and partnering with others has been one of the most rewarding parts of my experience, and it has shown me that the university’s greatest strength is the community of people working together to support our students and one another.

One of my greatest achievements has been building a career dedicated to serving others through higher education. At Rice, I have the privilege of supporting the university’s academic mission while expanding my knowledge of Responsible AI and serving as a University Associate at Hanszen College. These experiences have allowed me to grow professionally while continuing to invest in the success of our students and the broader Rice community.
