HERC is seeking a full-time Associate Director for Regional Research (ADR) to oversee research produced in partnership with a set of school districts in the Houston region (approximately 10 districts), including the development of research questions and research design, data management, and collaborating with district leaders throughout the research process. The ADR will collaborate with the Director and other Associate Directors. The ADR will be responsible for engaging with all partner districts on a regular basis to ensure that all collaborative research goals are met and that data access is acquired. Additionally, the ADR will communicate with external researchers and collaborators such as the Texas Workforce Commission, Harris County Juvenile Probation Department, and the Texas Education Agency to acquire needed data.
