Position Summary

The Student Accounts Programmer Analyst provides system research and troubleshooting, report development, and other technical/administrative support as required by the University Student Accounts and Cashier’s Office. This position serves as liaison between functional user and technical systems groups in the development or modification of information systems.

Knowledge of Ellucian Banner AR system, Touchnet software suite, Oracle databases, SQL, HTML, Drupel, Crystal reports

Description of Job Duty

- Provide ongoing user support including troubleshooting and resolution of system issues.
- Process scheduled system jobs and confirm completion of automated scheduled system jobs.
- Perform data and transaction file uploads.
- Develop test plans associated with system upgrades or modifications.
- Conduct testing of new or modified systems.
- Serve as communications link between user and technical groups.
- Document and analyze business processes and requirements; identify solutions.

- Develop ad-hoc reporting for Cashier staff and other constituents.
- Develop and maintain queries and standard reports.
- Develop system reporting that finds known system processing or human errors.
- Migrate standard reporting and queries to permanent reporting tool.
- Prepare reports and user documentation related to system assignments.
