Position Summary

Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy anticipates filling a PhD level position in 2018.

The Will Clayton Fellow in International Economics will conduct original policy research in international economics and make policy recommendations. Relevant research areas include trade, exchange rates, monetary policy, and international labor markets. The Fellow will engage other Institute fellows, policy-makers in government, and the general public in discussions involving international economics.

Internal / External Contacts

The position will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including collaborative research partners, policy practitioners, organizational partners, and donors. The Fellow will also engage with the media, general public, and various departments and groups at Rice.
